Frequently asked questions

Registration for AHEE 2027 runs from 1 October 2026 to 30 May 2027. AHEE 2027 is for admission in 2027–28. Registration opens on 1 October and closes on 30 May every year. Candidates register on aheetest.in, and the exam fee of ₹2,000 is paid at registration.

The admit card is issued online when registration is complete. It is a JPG image and can be downloaded again at any time from the candidate account.

A candidate needs a working email address, a mobile number and the photo ID that will be shown at the exam: an Aadhaar card, passport or voter ID. Registration also asks for the Class 12 board and stream, and the year of passing or the year of appearing. Documents are uploaded later, in the candidate account.

No. Registering for AHEE books the exam. A candidate applies to a college by sharing the score and documents with that college from the candidate account, within that college’s application dates.

The main exam is in mid-June 2027. The exact dates are to be announced. Two reattempts follow, in the first week and the last week of July 2027.

Yes. The exam is taken on the candidate’s own device, from the exam link in the candidate account, and is proctored over a video call. The candidate needs a working camera and microphone, a stable internet connection and a quiet, well-lit room.

The paper has six sections: Biology (30%), Logical reasoning (20%), English (15%), Data interpretation (15%), Chemistry (10%) and Physics (10%). It follows the CBSE Class 11 and 12 syllabus.

Yes. The Class 12 stream given at registration does not decide eligibility for a programme. Each college applies its own eligibility rules. Claverton College, for example, admits students from both the PCM and PCB streams. Biology is 30% of the paper, at Class 11 and 12 level, and can be prepared from the standard textbooks.

Sample papers will be published on aheetest.in before the first attempt.

A candidate can take AHEE up to three times: the main exam and two reattempts. The best score counts. Scores are not averaged. Whether the exam fee of ₹2,000 applies to each reattempt is to be announced.

The results date is to be announced. Results are published in the candidate account.

A college sees every published result of a candidate who shares with it. The best score is marked.

Four documents are uploaded: a photograph, the photo ID, the Class 10 mark sheet and the Class 12 mark sheet. Each file must be a JPG, PNG or PDF of no more than 5 MB. A candidate appearing for Class 12 in 2027 uploads that mark sheet after the Class 12 result is declared.

The candidate and AHEE can see them. A college can see them only after the candidate chooses to share with that college. The college loses access as soon as the candidate stops sharing.

Yes. A candidate can share with any number of the participating colleges. Each college is chosen and confirmed separately.

Log in with the email address used at registration. AHEE sends a six-digit sign-in code to that address. There is no password. If the code has not arrived within a few minutes, check the spam folder, then select Send a new code.

The participating colleges are Claverton College and Samvad College. Each college sets its own application dates and its own rules for how the AHEE score counts in admission.

It depends on the college. Claverton College does not ask for NEET. Where a programme requires NEET, AHEE does not replace it.

No. AHEE provides the score. Each college ranks its applicants under its own rules and publishes its own merit list.
