The Allied Healthcare Entrance Exam (AHEE) is an online, multiple-choice exam in six sections, based on the CBSE Class 11 and 12 syllabus.

Sections and syllabus

Each percentage is the share of the paper that the section carries.

  1. Biology30%

    Human physiology, basic anatomy, cell biology and genetics, at Class 11 and 12 level.

  2. Logical reasoning20%

    Patterns, sequences, deductions and analytical problems.

  3. English15%

    Reading comprehension, grammar and vocabulary.

  4. Data interpretation15%

    Reading tables, charts, percentages and simple numerical data.

  5. Chemistry10%

    The fundamentals of Class 11 and 12 Chemistry.

  6. Physics10%

    Class 11 and 12 Physics, including sound, waves and basic electricity.

Attempts

A candidate may take the main exam and up to two reattempts. Each reattempt is booked from the candidate account. The best score counts. Scores are not averaged.

Exam day

Photo ID

The photo ID named at registration (Aadhaar card, passport or voter ID) is checked on camera.

Exam link

The exam link appears in the candidate account before each attempt. It is also sent by email.

Camera and microphone

The camera and microphone stay on for the whole exam.

Laptop and internet

Use a laptop with a stable internet connection. Take the exam in a quiet, well-lit room with no interruptions.

Start time

Log in before the start time. Late entry is not allowed.

Power supply

Keep the device charged or plugged in, and plan for a power cut.
